    As US relations fray, Canada gets serious about its own launch industry

    Strained US-Canada relations have prompted the Canadian government to invest in domestic space launch capabilities. Three companies—NordSpace, Reaction Dynamics, and Canada Rocket Company—received initial awards totaling $8.33 million CAD to develop rockets, with Canada Rocket Company pursuing an ambitious medium-lift vehicle instead of starting small.
