Neptune OS is a Windows NT-like operating system built on the seL4 microkernel that can run unmodified Linux and Windows kernel drivers as unprivileged userspace processes. The project realizes the original NT vision of a microkernel architecture with system services and drivers isolated in user mode, improving stability and security compared to monolithic kernels.
