Sony Interactive Entertainment requested that modder Speclizer cancel a fan-made PvP multiplayer mod for The Last of Us Part 2 PC that was scheduled for release this month. The cancellation follows Naughty Dog's own decision to scrap its official The Last of Us multiplayer project in 2023, disappointing fans of the franchise's online experiences.
Wardogs, a new FPS from Bulkhead, launched in early access and achieved over 1 million copies sold with 300,000 concurrent players on day one, causing server queues.
