Rebel Wolves is adding an easier difficulty option to The Blood of Dawnwalker in an October update for players who want to experience the story without combat. The new mode will replace the current Story Mode, which will be renamed Demanding or similar. The update will also include combat tweaks, performance improvements, and camera adjustments.
Final Fantasy 7 Revelation director Naoki Hamaguchi revealed that completionist playthroughs of the remake trilogy's conclusion could easily exceed 100 hours. The 2027 RPG will feature expanded content including mini-games, battles, and exploration areas, with Hamaguchi having completed 46 playthroughs during development. The game will require approximately 200GB of storage and launches April 8, 2027 across PC, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
