JetBrains has launched Air, an open system of products for agentic software development that expands beyond individual IDEs to coordinate, govern, and execute agent-driven development work across teams and organizations. The platform includes Air in IDEs, Air Teams for workflow coordination, and Air Governance for organizational control, while remaining open to third-party agents and tools through the Agent Client Protocol.
