DDns is a DNS protocol extension that maps static names to dynamic network addresses beyond traditional IP-based resolution. It addresses DNS limitations by supporting endpoints behind NAT and private networks through a new resource record type that includes both direct and delegate-assisted transport addresses with arbitrary port information.
