A developer has built Chess960v2.com, a platform running continuous Stockfish self-play analysis of asymmetric chess variants where White and Black each independently choose from 960 valid setups, creating 921,600 possible combinations. The project has completed 600 of 960 rounds in a round-robin tournament designed to identify which starting position combinations are mathematically balanced versus biased toward one side.
