A survey of 10,000 people across 127 countries asked whether they would give up kissing or eating sauce. Globally, 53.1% chose to give up kissing to keep sauce, but responses varied dramatically by country and culture, from 35% in Portugal to 71% in Egypt. Country of residence was the strongest predictor, with Arab regions favoring giving up kissing and Iberian regions favoring giving up sauce.
