Chinese researchers at Sun Yat-sen University have developed Huanyu Zhiying 1.0, an AI system that simulates foreign audiences across 18 countries to model how they might respond to events and messages, helping China refine its international propaganda. The system uses survey data from real respondents in countries like Australia, the US, and Britain to create over 10,000 synthetic user profiles, then tests Chinese political narratives against these simulations to predict resistance and adjust messaging for maximum persuasive effect.
