Apple has restored the App Switcher feature in watchOS 27.2 beta 2 with a new gesture: pressing and holding the bottom of the screen while in an app. The feature was removed in watchOS 27, but users can now access it and use the Digital Crown to scroll through recently used apps or swipe to remove them.
