Polish developer Pawel Szydlowski created Zuckoff, an app that detects nearby Meta smart glasses and estimates their distance, which has attracted 5,000 users since launching on Apple's App Store last month. The app addresses growing privacy concerns about people using smart glasses to secretly record and identify strangers without consent. Szydlowski suggests Meta could adopt Apple and Google's approach to Bluetooth tracker detection to better protect privacy.
