    Stablecoin company Frax applies for top-level domain .frax

    Frax, a US-based stablecoin company, applied to ICANN for the .frax top-level domain as part of the 2026 New gTLD Program, claiming it's the first cryptocurrency company to do so. If approved, Frax plans to integrate the domain with its blockchain Fraxtal and Frax Name Service, enabling programmable financial endpoints and stablecoin payments through domain names.
