SMBC Nikko Securities is partnering with Nethermind, Uniswap Labs, Base, and the Nyx Foundation to develop regulatory-compliant DeFi infrastructure for Japanese investors. The initiative will create a DeFi Gateway with liquidity protocols, AI-based vaults, AML/CFT compliance features, and strategies for stablecoins and real-world assets, targeting completion by mid-2027.
