Blizzard announced Diablo 5, a new mainline entry in its action RPG series, at BlizzCon 2026 with a planned Spring 2029 release. Set one century after Diablo 4's events, it will be the franchise's first entirely post-apocalyptic game and marks over three decades since the series' debut.
