    DHH rewrote Campfire Once from Ruby on Rails to Rust, Elixir, and Go using AI agents without reviewing the code. The rewrites revealed fundamental issues: vague prompts lead to inconsistent architectural decisions across languages, and AI-generated code contains performance problems like blocking operations in async contexts that only careful code review can catch.
