Microsoft has begun disabling Exchange Web Services (EWS) by default in Exchange Online, which will prevent Apple's Mail and Calendar apps on Mac from syncing Microsoft 365 accounts. The phased rollout started today with permanent shutdown planned for April 1, 2027. Apple is working to migrate its Mac apps to Microsoft Graph API in a future update, but the transition has not yet been implemented.
