Miris has developed a spatial streaming platform that delivers real-time HDR 3D automotive assets to multiple device types simultaneously without per-platform rebuilds. A 1.2GB vehicle configurator streams adaptively to desktop browsers, mobile phones, tablets, and AR headsets, with 72 configurable variations rendered on-device based on user input and network capability.
HDR enables graphic designers to use different luminance levels within a single color to distinguish elements, similar to how fluorescent and ordinary inks differ in print. The technology requires careful palette management, color-specific luminance ranges, and proper encoding to preserve intended brightness across different displays and media.
