Dutch startup Resilicon plans to build a polysilicon factory in the Netherlands, aiming to establish competitive European production by leveraging low-carbon electricity and premium product quality rather than competing on price with Asian producers. The company secured over €14 million in funding and targets high-purity polysilicon for semiconductors, solar PV, and silane markets, with initial capacity of 13 kilotons scaling to 26-30 kilotons annually.
