A developer built a system allowing Muse, an AI assistant, to read their iMessage history from a private archive updated every five minutes. The architecture uses a Go service with Tailscale for secure network access, SQLCipher encryption, and read-only search endpoints, enabling Muse to help manage calendars, to-do lists, and remember commitments while the Mac is offline.
