Nintendo released a free update for Mario Kart World adding 10 classic Super Mario Kart SNES tracks and two new Knockout Tour routes. The update launched September 9, 2026 for Nintendo Switch 2, featuring retro item panels and new gameplay modes including Spectator Mode.
