Tishman Speyer and The Cooper Union have acquired the Chrysler Building in Midtown Manhattan for $235 million and revealed renovation plans to modernize 75% of office space, restore the iconic Art Deco façade including its famous crown, and upgrade building systems. The project includes a new 61st-floor amenity lounge with terraces offering skyline views and underground wellness spaces.
