The Transportation Security Administration launched Gateside, a new program allowing PreCheck members to pass through airport security without a ticket at 13 U.S. airports to meet friends, family, or dine during layovers. The free program, which began last week at airports including Dallas Fort Worth, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas, requires applications submitted one to three days in advance. Several other U.S. airports already operated similar free programs open to all visitors with valid ID.
