Samsung's One UI 9.5 software update has leaked ahead of its official debut with the Galaxy S27 series in 2027. Samsung has released the stable One UI 9.0 update for the Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra after a five-month beta period. The update is based on Android 17 and includes the September 2026 security patch, initially rolling out in South Korea with global availability expected within days.
Samsung rolled out One UI 9.0 Beta 2 for the Galaxy S24 series, bringing Galaxy AI features previously exclusive to newer models like the S26 and Z Fold 8, including Call Brief for caller information display, My FanCam for video person-tracking, Custom Cards for health data consolidation, and Now Nudge for contextual suggestions.
Samsung's Galaxy S27 Pro and S27 Ultra will feature M16 OLED panels, marking the first major OLED upgrade in three years, offering higher brightness, power efficiency, and color accuracy. The S27 and S27+ will use M14 panels. Samsung's foldable Z series is also expected to adopt M16 panels in 2027.
Samsung is developing Galaxy Buds On, open-ear loop-style wireless earbuds launching in Black and White. The earbuds feature pogo pin charging, touch controls, head gestures, and AI-powered voice recording with summarization, but lack ANC and 360 Audio.
