Anthropic has launched Claude Docs and Slides, new productivity tools that let users create and edit documents and presentations directly within Claude chats. The company is also consolidating its interface into "one Claude," merging regular chats and Cowork to provide unified access to AI productivity features, directly competing with Google's Gemini integration in its office suite.
Slack is launching Slackforce Surfaces, a new feature that lets users ask Slackbot to build interactive reports, dashboards, polls, and presentations directly within chats by describing what they need. The AI assistant gathers data from conversations and connected apps like Google Drive and Salesforce, creates the interactive tool, and allows team members to view, interact with, and comment on it collaboratively without exporting data elsewhere.
