BMW's next-generation 3 Series (codenamed G50) was spotted undisguised at a Munich facility weeks before its scheduled world premiere at the end of September, revealing the M Performance variant M350 xDrive with quad exhausts and M Sport styling. The new sedan will share design similarities with the electric i3 despite using different platforms, featuring a radically redesigned interior without the traditional iDrive rotary knob and switchgear. Production will shift from Munich to Dingolfing, with European sales beginning after the premiere and U.S. availability expected in 2027.
