This article discusses design principles for agent user interfaces, contrasting command-line/sidebar approaches with visual, document-integrated alternatives where agents work alongside users with visible cursors and tracked changes. It proposes spatial resolution through in-document editing, visual pointing mechanisms, and multiplayer features including shared conversations, project-based organization, and live collaboration to improve user alignment and understanding of agent work.
