AICore is an experimental adaptive control layer for heterogeneous PCs that coordinates resources between applications, OS, and hardware using system telemetry and optional local AI inference. Implemented in Rust for Windows and Linux as a proprietary prototype, it sits between applications and hardware interfaces to optimize resource allocation across CPUs, GPUs, NPUs, and power states while preserving validation and rollback capabilities.
