Thieves stole approximately 30,000 bottles of premium Italian wine valued at $5.8 million from Marchesi Antinori's winery in Tuscany, Italy's largest wine theft on record. The well-organized gang disabled security systems and used the facility's forklifts to load two trucks with wines including Solaia, Tignanello, and Guado al Tasso from the 2023 vintage. Authorities are investigating the theft and tracking how the stolen wine may be sold.
