Qualcomm launched the Snapdragon Sound Elite Gen 2, an AI chip for audio wearables like earbuds and headphones that enables on-device AI capabilities with twice the performance of its predecessor. The chip supports features including real-time translation, sound amplification for hearing assistance, and combines Wi-Fi 6E with Bluetooth for extended range and battery efficiency.
