Ghost of Yōtei's new DLC expansion, Echoes of Sekigahara, explores the consequences of protagonist Atsu's revenge quest by delving into her past romance with Nagato during the Battle of Sekigahara and examining how her vendetta has impacted the lands and people around her. The expansion adds significant character depth through flashbacks and emotional moments that should have been part of the base game.
Ghost of Yotei: Complete Edition adds a story DLC chapter called Echoes of Sekigahara where protagonist Atsu pursues a former acquaintance named Nagato across the new Ashoro Foothills region, taking 8–10 hours to complete with solid emotional depth but familiar gameplay. The standout feature is Most Wanted, a new roguelike mode with randomized combat encounters and unlockables that showcases the game's combat system.
