Apple patched a critical security vulnerability in iOS 26, iPadOS 26, and macOS 26 affecting the graphics engine that could allow sophisticated attacks on targeted individuals. The bug was discovered by Meta's product security team and remains a concern as nearly 80% of iPhone users still run the older OS version. A separate zero-click iMessage vulnerability was also recently fixed after Belgian firm ironPeak identified it could bypass Apple's BlastDoor security feature.
