Researchers from McMaster University's LIVELab studied speed dating participants using motion capture technology and found that synchronized body sway between potential partners predicted interest in long-term relationships, even after controlling for physical attractiveness. The study suggests that body sway coupling reflects the quality of interpersonal communication and compatibility between partners.
