A tic-tac-toe playing agent uses a real neural circuit extracted from the fruit fly (Drosophila melanogaster) connectome as its decision-making core. The ~100-neuron circuit from the fly's brain is wrapped with a minimax solver and mapped to board positions through a deliberate engineering convention, demonstrating how biological neural circuits can drive game play without any inherent understanding of the task.
