China's Academy of Information and Communications Technology has launched a trial operation of an intelligent agent identification and identity network using blockchain and decentralized identifier (DID) technology. The network, operational in Beijing and Xiamen, provides identity registration, verification, and capability discovery services while supporting multiple DID methods and interconnection protocols.
