Chinese camera maker Insta360 opened its first U.S. flagship store in New York City as it races to capture the American market, capitalizing on growing U.S. restrictions on rival DJI. While DJI faces FCC bans and national security scrutiny, Insta360 is expanding its camera business and launching a separate drone brand, Antigravity, to avoid similar restrictions.
Ring has unveiled a smart lock featuring a hand crank that generates power through manual turning, allowing 30 seconds of operation during outages. The company is also launching four new 4K cameras and an updated Pan-Tilt Indoor Cam 2K, with the smart lock priced at $249 and expected to release in early 2027.
