Murata has begun mass production of the LLD series, the world's smallest 0201-inch three-terminal low-ESL MLCCs measuring 0.6 × 0.3 mm, reducing mounting area by 64% compared to previous 0402-inch models. These capacitors stabilize power supply voltage for high-speed ICs in compact devices like smartphones and wearables by providing shorter current paths and lower equivalent series inductance.
