Bill Skarsgård has been cast as the lead in Physint, a spiritual successor to Metal Gear Solid being developed by Kojima Productions. The game, which was dropped by PlayStation due to budget concerns and missed deadlines, is now being published by Xbox.
At Tokyo Game Show 2026, Hideo Kojima announced that Swedish actor Bill Skarsgård will play the lead role in PHYSINT, an upcoming action-espionage game from Kojima Productions. Skarsgård joins an ensemble cast including Charlee Fraser, Don Lee, and Minami Hamabe, with Kojima expressing confidence in the project based on costume fittings and camera tests conducted earlier in the year.
