    An AI researcher conducted an experiment making the same graphic novel three times with increasing human oversight to understand what distinguishes AI-generated "slop" from quality work. The first iteration used 50 coordinated AI agents to produce a 50-page comic in 30 minutes, resulting in soulless, unreadable output that copied its inspiration. The experiment aims to reveal the structural differences between low-quality scaled AI content and thoughtfully produced work.
