The US Department of Justice intervened in support of X and Elon Musk's challenge to a 120 million euro fine imposed by the European Commission for DSA non-compliance. The DoJ argues the Commission exceeded its regulatory authority over an American company and improperly treated Musk as a single economic entity with X, violating corporate law principles. The case represents the first DSA enforcement action to reach the EU's General Court.
