Researchers developed a psychometric profiling framework to systematically characterize behavioral patterns in nine large language models using seven psychological instruments across Chinese and English. The study found that LLMs exhibit structured, model-specific behavioral signatures shaped by alignment training, with consistent response patterns across repeated administrations and identifiable differences based on language and provider origin.
