Dutch designer Merijn Straathof rebuilt Richie Hawtin's 1990s techno album DE9: Closer to the Edit as an interactive web instrument, making all 120 original loops freely available online for playback, remixing, and MIDI control. The project reimagines the companion vinyl release that originally invited listeners to experiment with raw material, transforming a static tracklist into a functional instrument with minimalist design.
