Lynchian noir mystery Silver Pines takes the best bits from horror, the middling bits from Metroidvanias, and the worst bits from adventure games

Silver Pines is a Twin Peaks-inspired detective mystery blending horror, Metroidvania exploration, and point-and-click puzzles with moody visuals and an intriguing missing-person narrative, but frustrating backtracking, obtuse puzzle design, and tedious item hunts significantly hamper the experience despite strong horror and mystery storytelling.
