    Disney's Films Used to Look Different

    Disney and Pixar faced significant technical challenges converting digitally-created animations to physical film stock in the 1980s and 1990s. The process required extensive color correction and testing because computer monitors and film stock respond to light differently, forcing animators and technicians to develop new workflows to achieve desired visual results.
