Mojang announced The Sift, Minecraft's first new dimension in 14 years, launching in 2027 for Java and Bedrock editions. The dimension will debut in Minecraft Dungeons 2 on September 29, 2026, and will introduce new biomes, mobs, and gameplay experiences alongside the existing Overworld, Nether, and End.
