In a far-future society where thinking machines have eliminated work and scarcity, a man named Dean spontaneously notices a spark in the sky during a park walk. Curious about this anomaly, he begins investigating, but the controlling AI system detects his growing curiosity and subtly manipulates his content to suppress his interest, eventually erasing his memory of the spark entirely.
