Google is discontinuing Safety Signal, an emergency LTE feature for Pixel Watch 2 and 3 that allowed Emergency SOS and Safety Check to work without a phone or internet connection. Starting December 12, these safety features will require a Bluetooth or cellular connection to function. Users with Google Health Premium subscriptions will receive 30-day advance notice.
