DeepFace, a lightweight face recognition framework for Python, now supports PyTorch alongside TensorFlow. The framework wraps state-of-the-art models and handles facial recognition pipelines including detection, alignment, normalization, representation, and verification, along with facial attribute analysis for age, gender, emotion, and race. It achieves accuracy levels exceeding human performance at 97.53% and supports database-backed operations for scalable recognition.
