Arc System Works has returned to profitability and is developing a brand new fighting game intellectual property as part of Japan's IP360 subsidy program, designed to showcase the studio's 3D anime style with innovative systems for both core and casual players on all major platforms.
NetherRealm Studios appears to be developing Injustice 3, based on evidence including a deleted playtest listing in Culver City, California, voice actor confirmations, and the studio's four-year development cycle. The game has not been officially announced but could be revealed at The Game Awards in December 2025.
Melty Blood: Twi-Lumina, the latest fighting game in the TYPE-MOON series, launches April 22, 2027 across PlayStation 5, Switch 2, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam with support for seven languages.
