    Meta Tests Muse AI Agent Calls That Are Made by Humans in a Call Center

    Meta publicly announced its Muse AI agent can make phone calls to businesses on users' behalf, but internally revealed that human call center workers actually handle many of these calls. Employees raised privacy and security concerns about sensitive user information being shared with human contractors, and worried the revelation could generate negative press about Meta misrepresenting its AI capabilities.
