Star Meat Delivery Inc. is recalling approximately 167,639 pounds of raw pork, beef, and goat products produced without federal inspection and bearing false USDA inspection marks. The USDA classified this as a Class I recall, the highest health risk level, due to the products being unsafe and improperly labeled.
The USDA recalled more than 80 tons of raw pork, beef, and goat meat sold nationwide by A&D Foods after discovering fake USDA inspection labels and lack of proper inspection. The meat, produced by Star Meat Delivery Inc., could be contaminated or contain undisclosed ingredients or allergens, and consumers are advised to discard or return it.
